We believe in the Triune God; God the Father who created all things (Genesis 1:1, Revelation 4:11), God the Son who died in our places and was raised for our justification (Romans 4:25), and God the Holy Spirit who indwells and empowers us and all true believers (Ephesians 3:16, John 7:38).
We believe that while we were helpless and sinful, Christ died for us (Romans 5:6). Therefore, we now have the righteousness of God (II Corinthians 5:12), old things have passed away and we are children of God (John 1:12). We cannot be separated from the love of God (Romans 8:25), Christ lives in our hearts by faith (Galatians 2:20), therefore we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). We have been chosen by God and appointed to bear fruit for God (John 15:16). We have been seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:20-23). Therefore, we resist the devil and he flees from us (James 4:7).
We believe that God has granted us everything pertaining to life and godliness through the promises in His Word (II Peter 1: 3, 4). As we follow His Word, all things that happen work together for good (Romans 8:28) and we have confidence that He who began a good work in us will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Even if we fall, we have in Jesus a sympathetic High Priest who gives us grace and mercy in time of need (Hebrews 4: 15, 16).
We do not fear death because if we die before Jesus returns, the moment we die, we will be present with the Lord (II Corinthians 5:6-8). If we remain until He returns, we will be caught up to meet Jesus in the clouds (I Thessalonians 4: 16, 17).
